The first question patients ask before booking is the price. Fair enough. A prescription costs 149-169 PLN, a gram of dried flower at the pharmacy runs 20-80 PLN, and monthly therapy lands between 300 and 800 PLN. The rest is detail.
Below: each line item with actual brand names, real Polish pharmacy prices and the question we hear most often — is it worth it?
The qualifying consultation at CannabisMedic costs 169 PLN (about €40). The doctor reviews your records, runs the interview and — if you qualify — issues an ePrescription. Takes 20-30 minutes.
Follow-up visits are 149 PLN (~€35). Scheduled every 4-12 weeks, depending on the preparation and how your body responds. The doctor reviews dosing, adjusts, sometimes switches manufacturer.
| Visit type | Price | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Initial qualifying visit | 169 PLN (~€40) | 20-30 min |
| Follow-up visit | 149 PLN (~€35) | 15-20 min |
| English-language visit | 250 PLN (~€58) | 30 min |
Online consultations work identically to in-person ones. The ePrescription enters the Polish P1 system within minutes.
This is the largest item in the monthly budget. Polish pharmacy prices spread mostly by manufacturer and THC concentration.
Concrete 2026 ranges:
The doctor picks based on symptoms, not budget. But if budget is a real barrier — say so. There's usually a cheaper preparation with a similar profile.
Monthly consumption is highly individual. An insomnia patient might use 5-10 g (200-500 PLN). A chronic pain patient may go through 15-20 g (600-1200 PLN). These numbers come from our clinic, not estimates.
Oil is the alternative to dried flower. More predictable dose, less discreet route. Insomnia and anxiety patients often prefer oil over vaporization.
Price starts at 300 PLN (~€70) per 10 ml bottle. A bottle typically lasts 4-6 weeks at standard evening dosing.
Oil fits where dried flower doesn't. Older patients. People who don't want to inhale. Cases where precise dosing matters clinically.
Anonymized real patient figures from our practice:
| Patient profile | Visit | Flower/oil | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Insomnia, low dose | 149 PLN | 250 PLN (5g) | ~400 PLN (€95) |
| Chronic pain, medium dose | 149 PLN | 500 PLN (10g) | ~650 PLN (€150) |
| Neuropathic pain, high dose | 149 PLN | 900 PLN (18g) | ~1050 PLN (€245) |
| Anxiety + insomnia, oil | 149 PLN | 300 PLN (bottle) | ~450 PLN (€105) |
Average across our clinic: 300-600 PLN per month (€70-140). More expensive than NFZ-subsidized painkillers, cheaper than private opioid therapy it often replaces.
No public health insurance coverage. The therapy is entirely private.
We don't ask patients this directly. They tell us after 2-3 months. The recurring answers: cut back on tramadol and ketoprofen, dropped prescription sleep meds, returned to work after extended sick leave.
Not every outcome is that clean. For some patients the therapy doesn't work, or works less than they hoped. The doctor knows after the first follow-up and won't drag treatment that isn't helping.
If you're weighing the cost against alternatives, the cleanest move is to book a qualifying visit. 169 PLN and 30 minutes is enough to know whether this makes sense for you.
