You walk out of the clinic with an ePrescription. Next question: where do you fill it? Not every pharmacy in Poland keeps cannabis flower on the shelf. Some order within 24 hours, some won't dispense THC products at all, a handful of chain pharmacies maintain steady stock.

Medical cannabis in Poland is available only at regular pharmacies — with a prescription. You can't buy it at CBD shops (those carry CBD products with THC traces under 0.2%), you can't buy it online without a prescription, and you can't get it at smoke shops.

Most chain pharmacies meet the first requirement. The second is a local call — some pharmacies don't keep stock because of the storage requirements.

Since 2023, medical cannabis in Poland is prescribed exclusively via ePrescription. That shortens the process — the prescription goes into the P1 system, you fill it at any pharmacy with your PESEL number plus a 4-digit code (or the QR code from the SMS).

Online pharmacy: a few operate, but delivery is only to a parcel locker or in-person pickup (no courier to your home — the preparation is a controlled substance). DOZ Apteka, Apteka Gemini and some independents handle it. Delivery 2-4 business days.

The prescription is valid 30 days from issuance. Miss the window and the doctor has to write a new one.
